During the planning phases of our most recent Flourish Workshop feat. Angela of Saffron Avenue we were just sure that the weather would be warm and sunny, it would be April after all! We envisioned bright pops of color and lush greens would be the perfect fit for the time of year but Mother Nature had different plans as we drove through a dusting of snow and slush to set up the night before the workshop. Thankfully, the sun came out on the morning of the workshop and we were so happy to invite our guests into a bright and cheery space at Onesto, no matter how chilly it was outside.
If you’ve been hoping to nab a coveted seat to a workshop, you’re in luck!
Mark your calendars for July 9, 10, 30, or 31!
We’ll be in Madison, Wisconsin on July 9 + 10 and back in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 30 + 31. That’s right! We’ve had so much fun hosting the lovely creatives in Milwaukee that we’re packing our supplies (and lots of snacks) for a fun road trip to Madison. With tickets for our April workshop selling out in under 10 minutes we’ve decided to open up more sessions than ever before to allow even more creatives the chance to learn this covetable skill. Complete details will be released on our Workshop page on Monday June 6th. Make sure to sign up for our Lovely Insider mailing list to nab a code to access presale tickets one week before general admission tickets go on sale.
The biggest thanks to Maison and Caleb of Maison Meredith Photography for capturing such beautiful images of the day! Scroll on to experience more of the day for yourself!
After checking in, guests mingled, enjoyed delicious champagne cocktails and of course snapped those oh so important Instagram worthy photos before class began. Highlighting local makers is a part of our workshops that we hold dear and every guest who posted a photo was entered in for the chance to win an item from one of our spotlight vendors! This time we highlighted The River Haze + Moryae Jewelry and two lucky attendees at each session headed home with a pretty new gift!
We are honored know that each of our guests chose to invest in this unique experience and we always keep this at the forefront of our minds as we design and curate each detail of our workshops.
We truly want our workshops to feel like an experience, not just a class.
With that in mind, we make it a priority to design an inviting and beautiful space and gift a personalized item to each of our guests. An astroturf wall donned with amazing REAL floral letters from Bloom Floral and Event Design was the absolute highlight of the decor and attendees couldn’t stop raving!
We also created personalized glass water bottles with lovely calligraphy by Angela. Each guest headed home with a keepsake tote bag filled with fragrant candles, lip balms, cookies, jewelry and caramels from local shops and of course their calligraphy kits to allow them to keep honing their new skill at home!
