Describe the experience a couple can expect when working with you on a custom ring.
When a couple chooses us to create a custom ring for them, the experience and product are completely different than what you’d receive at the average jewelry store. You won’t hear regular sales pitches and there’s no pressure. Our family has been in the industry for almost 30 years, and we’re truly in it for the love, magic and art of it. We spend a significant amount of time educating our clients on diamonds, different gem labs, and also, what makes a piece of jewelry long lasting. Our rings are not made in factories. Every single ring we create is handmade in the USA. We use the old school, lost wax casting method, and ALL of our stones are hand set by our expert jeweler. When you get a ring from us, you can rest assured that it’s one of a kind. We pride ourselves on not only the design, but the quality of our products. We also care a lot about the environment, so the majority of the gold we use is recycled and renewed. The stones we use are conflict-free, and we only use diamonds graded by the best gem labs. We’re working on trying to use 100% recycled gold and go beyond the “conflict-free” title.
What are your favorite gems to work with?
Diamonds are always going to be my favorite gem to work with, but I also really love tanzanite, moonstone and Ethiopian opals.
What has been one of the most unique designs you’ve created?
The most unique design I created would probably have to be a 3 in one ring. It’s 2 different rings that can be worn separately, or you can slide them together and wear it as one.
What influences your design?
When working on customs, the client’s interests and personality is what influences me the most in the design. When I’m just creating designs on my own for Alyssa & Anna, it’s the gemstone that inspires me the most. It all begins with the center stone.
