In February, we had the honor of traveling north to visit our friends in Green Bay, Wisconsin for Avant: A Brush Lettering Workshop feat. Victoria Danielle. Last year our workshops allowed us to travel to Kansas City and Madison and after lots of requests from local creatives in Green Bay, we decided 2017 was the year to head north. This workshop was our first brush lettering workshop plus it was our first time holding a workshop in Green Bay!
We were warmly welcomed and couldn’t be more thankful for the group of guests who came to enjoy a morning of learning in an uplifting environment. After sitting back and recapping the day, this workshop was a true testament to why we embarked on this journey of hosting workshops. We believe that creatives in all cities, not just the bustling big cities where most workshops happen, deserve to invest in experiences like these – ones that encourage learning and community all in a beautiful setting.
So where should we travel next? Do you live in a smaller market that doesn’t get the opportunity to experience one of a kind in person workshops? Leave us a comment below, we’d love to come visit you next!
Now sit back and scroll through the beautiful photos of the day from Danae Hermann, we bet you’ll practically feel like you’re there! Want to join us at an upcoming workshop? We’re releasing details next week about our next workshop that will be held in Milwaukee, Wisc. – but we’re letting those on our Lovely Insider mailing list in on the details later this week… sign up today!
