Every year when the holiday’s roll around I take the dusty boxes out of storage that house my holiday decorations and every year (without fail) I stare at them uninspired. My tastes change frequently and so in turn, what I thought I loved last holiday season has now left me scratching my head about whether or not I really want to look at that on the wall for the next month. Sound familiar?
This year, Gather: A Pop-Up Holiday Workshop was focused around decorating your home for the holidays with things Emilee and I are currently inspired by like felted ball garlands, hand lettered acrylic ornaments, modern holiday prints and the sweetest mini wreathes adorned with fragrant fresh greenery.
Our students joined us for a fun morning where they got to relax on comfy mid-century modern furniture from our friends (and hosts) Cream City Restoration while they crafted their holiday decorations. They also had the opportunity to try out Nimble Coffee’s custom mocha made especially for our guests (and yes, we had to name is the Mint & Lovely Mocha…duh)!
